Friday the 13th

Today is Friday the 13th!!!! I wish it were actually my Friday but today is more like my Tuesday. Cole and I are both waiting for what we hope is good news this week.
This last week was wonderful, my parents and grandparents came to Lewiston on Friday to visit for the weekend. Originally I was supposed to work on Friday but I was put on call :) It worked out perfectly because it was Cole's last day at Red River and he came home early that day too. Anyway, we had an amazing brunch on Easter which was also my sister in law's birthday. The Easter bunny came and we were spoiled with way too much candy. Cache and I went back to boise for a couple of days and had a blast.  Here is a couple of pics from our Easter.

A litte update...

So clearly I am not good at updating our family blog. It’s been a little over a year since we have moved back to Lewiston and so much has changed. I’m not going to bore you with all of the little things; instead I will highlight the big and exciting details.
Cole was gone for most of the summer fighting fires in New Mexico and Arizona while I was prego, miserable and sicker than a dog. In July we finally signed for our first home in Lewiston. With the help of our families we painted, cleaned, fenced and replaced some flooring and then moved in our new home around the middle of August. (Before and after pics soon to come)
Cole moved back home in October after the fire season was finished and most importantly our son Cache (Cash) aka Bubba was born in December. He is our world and we couldn’t imagine life without him. He was born December 28th at 1:28 pm. He was 8lbs 5oz and 22inches long.  He looks so much like his daddy but acts like mom. When he is hungry the world is going to end and everyone better watch out! He loves to be around people, to be held, cuddled and gets very upset when he’s all alone. Okay… so he’s a little spoiled J He is a little wiggle monster, loves to stand and do exercises with daddy. I’m pretty sure Cache thinks his name is Bubba. Cole is a natural daddy, he is the ultimate burper, nail clipper and most of the time knows exactly what the Bubba wants.

We are so glad to have Cole around more often now. Cole went back to Red River for work about 2 weeks ago and his last day of work at Red River was Friday. He quit so he could find something closer to Lewiston. We are praying he gets the job in Pomeroy or somewhere close so he can be home every night with us.
Well I am now realizing why I haven’t kept up with our blog. Life is so busy, especially with a little one. I will try and keep things updated. I guess we will have to see how things go.
